Gärdet August 2001

Bruce and the tandem paraglider just after a towing take-off in Stockholm.

Student licensees getting the hang (haha) of it beneath the Kaknäs tower on Gärdet.

Bruce and Simon the instructor pilot at approximately 100-150 metres over Gädet during towing. Bruce's a bit worried...about the camera angle of course! He proved to be an Ozzie worth the Viking-title. No worries mate!

Forward view heading west in the final stage of the towing. The street that begins where the white balloon is landing is Valhallavägen.

The Globe arena in the south with Djurgården in front.

The canopy of Bruce's paraglider in harmony with a balloon (with the text that means "very fast letter") and an Unidentified Finger Object.

Pilot Simon made a steep 360 turn and we on the ground heard a distinct Ozzie-style "YEEEEEAH!"...that ususally means that someone is hooked ;)

Quite a nice angle in that 360, hey!

Simon steers the paraglider in for landing...but Bauer didn't know that that was happening...

...until Bauer sees Bruce's boot swing buy in the corner of the eye, bastards!!

Bauer holding the towing line.

It's not...

...harder than...

...THIS, Yeeeha!

Bauer had a lucky start and are now heading for the place where he belongs :)

Bauer and ...ok, enopught bauer this and bauer that. ME and MY APCO Sentra while curving around. I can tell ya all. I LOVE IT!!!

I'm going in for what I expected to be a simulated emmergency landing between a rainway, a lake, a groge and a house...I landed short on the railway...railways have 16 000 volts in the electrical system...I'm fried!

Bruce and I after a successfull evening. Thanx Bruce for the awesome footage that evening!
